Lisa Rivera, MSN, FNP-C, WCC

Lisa J Rivera is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in Wound care and Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. She completed her Diploma of Nursing from Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in Montclair New Jersey in 1986, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kean University in Union New Jersey in 2014 and then completed her Master of Nursing at Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois in 2019. She holds national board certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner as well as a certified wound certification from The National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO).

Lisa’s career span for the last 38 years where she began as a bedside nurse in critical care unit and emergency nursing for over 20 years.  For additional 18 + years, Lisa earned her way from bedside nursing to Assist Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager in Telemetry/Step Down units, Emergency Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing in FQHC facility.  She also was Administrative Nursing Supervisor in varies facilities in New Jersey. Also practiced as a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) with a critical care transport team facilitating the transport of critically ill patients from one facility to another in New Jersey.

The past 4 years, Lisa has enjoyed and thrived in her work of healing complex wounds in NJ where she started an inpatient wound care team for the  hospital system. Since, 2022, Lisa started another wound care program on behalf of a wound care center and served as the only Hyperbaric-trained provider for over 1.5 years, overseeing and prescribing HBOT for multiple patients.

With extensive experience in bedside and nursing management, Lisa decided to change her course and pursue a different path in nursing, and she obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019.  With her compassion and drive, she accepted the challenge of a  Wound care specialist where she enjoys and thrives in healing complex wounds.

Lisa and her husband of 35 years, a retired New Jersey Fireman, moved to Sumter SC  in 2021 from New Jersey with their 2 sons and dog. They enjoy camping at the beach and the warm weather that South Carolina brings.

Lisa looks forward to serving the Sumter and surrounding communities in wound care, occupational health and wellness services. We are your partners in your health care.

Kimberly Dianne Billie Jackson, MSN, AGNP-C

Kimberly Dianne Billie Jackson, MSN, AGNP-C Is a an experienced wound care nurse practitioner since 2023. Wound care training and direct practice supervision was with a wound care and hyperbaric certified surgeon with whom kim not only rounded but managed and healed wounds from initial onset of wound to wound closure. She is a board-certified Adult- Gerontology, Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who is the co-founder of Sumter’s only free-standing wound clinic. Kim has 26 years total nursing experience and has been an NP since 2020. During Covid served on the front line in ICU during the first wave in NYC as an NP hospitalist California. Kim has worked coast to coast for 22 years as a traveling RN and 4 years as corporate nurse manager in the Bronx, NY all while earning her NP in 2019. Nursing bedside experience has been in CVICU at MUSC Florence, oncology with chemotherapy infusion with Dr. Billy Clowney, telemetry, medical surgical, psychiatric nursing at BPH in Columbia, SC. Other experience includes nursing education and . Kim is an AHA CPR/ AED/ First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens instructor of ACLS, PALS, BLS and teaches IV Infusion therapy courses. A Silver, SC and Sumter native, Kim is a USC Columbia graduate class of 1997 and Kim is well- known and loved by her former students in the Sumter community. She has served as the director of Allheart AHEC for the last 17 years. She is the co-founder and director of Allheart AHEC, Allied Health Education Center- an allied health training school. Partnering with her mother, Dianne Jackson, LPN, a 52-year nursing veteran who is nearing retirement, they have trained many of the local CNA’s, phlebotomists and EKG Techs, helped launch thousands of healthcare careers, and well as trained the community in AHA CPR since 2008. Kim speaks conversational Spanish and is excited to serve the Gamecock city in yet another capacity- wellness, wound care with advanced modalities available, limb salvage, diabetic foot care and nail care, and health education and screening and medical managed weight loss and health coaching.
